Take Action Hollywood! Maria Menounos

On September 20th, 2010, Take Action Hollywood! and Crazy 8 teamed up for the 5th Annual Day of and Beauty at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. . NBC's Maria Menounos and her glam squad spent the day giving makeovers and gift bags to all the participating children and their families. .

In previous years, Take Action Hollywood! and Maria Menounos also received help from a number of companies to sponsor the Day of Beauty and donate gift bags that were given to the teenage patients.

This year the sponsors include: Nike, Michael Stars, Liv Grn, Jerry Leigh, Nerf, WWE, Lia Sophia, George Gina and Lucy, Oral B, MARK Cosmetics, Too Faced, Stila, Cargo, Senna, Debra Macki Cosmetics, and Crazy 8.

In addition to donating clothes, Crazy 8 has made a generous donation of $10,000 to Take Action Hollywood that will be distributed amongst the families.

The Children's Hospital provides opportunities for kids of all ages to enjoy age-appropriate activities, such as exploring the Internet, playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music. The space is available to all youth and young adults, with acute or chronic illness or injury from all units in the hospital who are able to leave their rooms and socialize with others their age in a common area.
