Take Action Hollywood! and NIKE have teamed up for a charity project called LET ME PLAY. This joint venture will build and refurbish playgrounds for children in impoverished communities across Los Angeles and eventually across the country.

With Maria Menounos taking the lead and other fantastic celebrities, like Kobe Bryant and Serena Williams on board championing the cause, LET ME PLAY is poised to achieve its goal of getting kids exercising and more active in order to thwart obesity, diabetes and build self esteem and ethics.

On Saturday September 15, 2007, TAH! And NIKE kicked off this exciting program with the fundraising 10k RUN HIT REMIX through downtown Los Angeles. Maria ran the race along with her friends Milo Ventimiglia and Susie Castillo, among others. The race marks the beginning of a long relationship with NIKE to not only build playgrounds, but to affect real change in communities across the country through the lives of the youth.
